The Email Spool feature allows Administrators to manage the email traffic on a server, so that the server processes and sends emails efficiently. Email spooling will prevent spikes or surges causing the server to become sluggish or to crash. Emails will be held in a queue until they are scheduled to be processed.
| 1. | Click the Email Spool button on the E-Mail screen to open the Email Spool screen. Note: The Email Spool screen displays the date/time the email is scheduled, the status of the email (scheduled, cancelled or delivered), and the number of attempts made to deliver the email. The recipients and subject of the email also display on the Scheduled Tasks screen. |
| 2. | On the Email Spool screen by clicking the corresponding button, Administrators will be able to immediately send the queued emails in the list, send a test email, requeue undelivered emails, cancel the scheduled task, clean up the spooling list or refresh the list. Note: A Confirmation window specific to the selected task will display. |

| 3. | On the Confirmation window, click the OK button to complete or acknowledge the task. |
| 4. | On the Email Spool screen, Administrators will also be able to change the settings of the spooling task by clicking the Settings button. See Email Spooling Settings for more information. Note: The Scheduled Tasks screen will display the new email queue. |
