Activity Title

The Activity's title will populate in the Activity Title field. A new Activity Title may be entered in this field.

Activity Code

The Activity's auto generated code will be populated in the Activity Code field. If desired, a new value may be entered in this field. Activity codes must be unique and must only contain letters, numbers, dashes and underscores.

Activity Type

The Activity Type radio buttons allow an Administrator or Manager to switch the activity type from Independent Study to Instructor Led. When the activity type is switched to Independent Study from Instructor Led, the Instructor Notes will move to the Review Instructions field if the field is empty. Note: If the Review Instructions field is not empty, the Instructor Notes will not copy over. They will continue to exist and will display when the activity type is switched back to Instructor Led. When the activity type is switched from Instructor Led to Independent Study, the Review Instructions will move to the Instructor Notes field if the field is empty. Note: If the Instructor Notes field is not empty, the Review Instructions will not copy over. They will continue to exist and will display when the activity type is switched back to Independent Study.

Language

The Language radio buttons allow an Administrator or Manager to switch the activity language from English to the alternate language. Note: This field is only available when Multilingual Support is enabled on the project.

Description

The Activity's description will populate in the Description field, if a description was entered when the Activity was created. The description may be entered or modified in this field. Note: A maximum of 255 characters may be entered in this field.

Activity Development Phase

The activity development phase is set by selecting an option from the Activity Development Phase drop-down menu. See Activity Development Phase for more information.

Activity Production Status

When the Activity Production Status is set to Parked (on hold), a drop-down menu will be displayed, from which you can select the Parked Status. Note: When an Activity is parked it is also automatically locked, and the Lock activity checkbox is disabled. An activity can only be unlocked when the Activity Production Status is set to "in-production".

Version and Version History button

The Activity's current version will populate in the Version field. A new version may be entered in this field. Note: Archived version information may be viewed by clicking the Version History button.

Lock activity

An activity can only be locked or unlocked when the Activity Production Status is set to in-production. See Lock or Unlock Activity for more information.

Display questions randomly?

To randomize questions in a Test Activity, select No or Yes from the Display questions randomly? drop-down menu. Note: This field is only available in a Test Activity.

Display multiple choice options randomly

To randomize the multiple choice options in a Test Activity, select No or Yes from the Display multiple choice options randomly drop-down menu. Note: This field is only available in a Test Activity.

Display prefix for each available question choice

To display a prefix for each choice option in a Test Activity, select the desired prefix from the Display prefix for each available question choice drop-down menu. Note: The Display multiple choice options randomly field must be set to No when this option is used. Note: This field is only available in a Test Activity.

Show subset

Test activities can be configured with a subset of questions that display when the activity is launched. See Configure Subset Settings for more information. Note: This field is only available in a Test Activity.

Classification

The Activity's Classification setting will populate in the Classification field. Note: The highest Classification assigned to any of the screens in the Activity is the value that will automatically populate in this field.

Controlled Goods

The Activity's Controlled Goods setting will populate in the Controlled Goods field. Note: The highest Controlled Goods category assigned to any of the screens in the Activity is the value that will automatically populate in this field. Note: To determine if the Classification and Controlled Goods values are correct, click the Verify button to recalculate the values.
