The LCMS supports additional SCORM metadata in its course publishing routines. This information can be defined at the project level and act as a default for all publishing. Also, for each publish you have the ability to refine these defaults which will stay attached to the Activity (direct publishing) or the Course.
On the Course Metadata tab, course publish SCORM metadata may be predefined and used as the defaults by the course publishing routines. These defaults may be refined as required for each course publish.
To configure the default course publish SCORM metadata:
1. | On the Preferences screen, click the Course Metadata tab from the Components menu to open the Course Metadata pane. |
2. | On the Course Metadata pane, click the Tags field to open the Select Tags screen, if required. Note: On the Select Tags screen, you may add, remove or enter new tags. See Tags/Categories (Tab) for more information. |
3. | Enter the required SCORM information in the corresponding fields. Some fields have an add button that may be used whenever additional entries are needed for the field. Click the add button to add an additional field. The additional fields added may be reordered or deleted. Click and drag the desired field to reorder it. Click the delete button beside the desired field to delete it. The additional fields added may be reordered or deleted. Click and drag the desired field to reorder it. 4. | Click the Submit button to save the changes and return to the Project Management screen or click the Cancel button to return to the Project Management screen without saving. |
